Author Guidelines

GUIDE TO AUTHORS

Africa Environmental Review (AER) is a peer-reviewed international multidisciplinary publication covering all aspects of the environmental sciences. AER aims to publish the best of environmental science articles across its full range, whilst including articles in which a variety of different data is synthesized. Typically, these will be applied to the African region, but their implications will be wider and their approaches could be adopted elsewhere.

Because of its international and multidisciplinary scope, contributors should bear in mind those readers who work in other fields and for whom English is a second language; thus the need to write clearly and simply, avoiding unnecessary technical terminology. AER‟s staff will edit typescripts with a view to brevity and clarity, so contributors should check proofs carefully

All typescripts are acknowledged on receipt and are selected for publication according to editorial assessment of their suitability by independent reviewers.
